Colossians 1:12-13 (KJV)
12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

God, our Father, has empowered us, made us meet or fit, worthy by the blood of Jesus, to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.  Notice, that it says that “He hath.”  This is past tense.  Now, what God has (hath) done, He wants us to experience it in the present.   Giving thanks is an avenue or way, (if we stop complaining, thinking ugly, thinking lack, or from fear and anxiety and start thinking about what God has (hath) given), we will begin to experience what He has (hath) done in the present.

After all,  He is our Father.

Blessings on you until the next post.
